This isn't just an audio interface to your jukebox amplifier, it actually allows the jukebox to select individual songs and videos from the iPod, same as if it were playing CD's. It does this by using playlists that represent each of the CD number selections.

The iPod adapter connects directly to your jukebox CCC and mimics the mechanism control and CD decoder operations. This tricks the jukebox into thinking it is still hooked up to a CD player.

You can also play selections directly from the iPod controls by switching to iPod mode. When any jukebox selection is made, iPod play is started, when the selection is canceled, the iPod is stopped.

Connection to the iPod is through the 30-pin Docking Port. The iPod adapter is compatible with the 4th Generation iPod with Click Wheel, iPod Mini, iPod Photo, iPod Nano 2G and the 5th Generation iPod. The kit comes with the iPod Adapter, iPod Universal base unit, connection cables and a 9-Volt AC power adapter (keeps the iPod battery charged).
