The JCU has many programmable features such as coin ratio settings or Free Play, continuous background music or timed autoplay. You can set it retain or erase credits and/or selected songs at power up. With a larger memory card, you can increase the 200 song selection limit to 1,000 songs.

Installation's a snap ! Only five connectors and four screws. Setting up your songs are just as easy. Plug your Compact Flash memory card into your PC's USB port. Create two folders, one named "01" and the other "02" then store 100 MP3 songs into each folder. The first two letters of each song filename are numeric digits that identify the songs selection position. Background plays can be from these same folders or create new folder numbers.

For example, you can have all your favorite bar room hits listed on the title strips using folders 01 and 02. Other favorites can be in folders 03 to 07 (500 songs), you can make a notebook to show these additional selections. And the kids (let's not forget them) can have their own songs in folders 08 and 09 (200 songs). Save your background music songs in folder 00. Enter service mode and change parameter "C" to 9, change "F" to 31 and set the autoplay Start and End Folders to 0. To initialize the new autoplay setting, press and hold the Popular key until P01 is displayed. What this would give you is a range of 100-999 selectable songs and if no selections are made, the background music is played.

The player supports all MP3 bitrates, including VBR, up to 320 kbits/s. Super fast song changes between selections. Contains a built-in stereo power amplifier delivering crisp clean sound.

An optional wireless remote control provides the convenience of adjusting the volume level, pausing play, song cancel and turning background music on/off.

A "line-out" cable is also available which allows you to connect to an external amplifier.
